| Job Description: |

Develop next generation design to ensure a secure networking environment
-
Analysis and assessment of security vulnerabilities and incidents
-
Review global cyber threat intelligence and alerts from outside sources to analyze potential risk to our operations and issue internal alerts and patching advisories.
-
Perform response and analysis of security incidents.
-
Monitor and maintain event log analysis tools. Produce reports.
-
Work with internal IT Ops teams to ensure security related events are recorded, prioritized, and reconciled.

Design and implement security solutions and controls recommended by compliance audits.
-
Work with enterprise risk team and enterprise design and architecture teams to ensure security best practices are implemented on systems, applications and architectures for security risks and vulnerabilities.

Provide architectural and technical guidance for software, systems and network security
-
Help to define overall IT Security strategy, roadmap, standards, processes and procedures.
-
Provide security consulting services to projects and other teams.
-
Testing, evaluation and implementation of third-party security tools and products, including vendor management
-
Design and implement Information Security policy, procedures, and training

| Required Skills: |
Strong knowledge of Information Security standards and best practices
Strong Cisco IDS/IPS experience
Strong system and OS level hardening experience with Sun / Solaris servers
Strong knowledge of IP-based protocols
Strong written/verbal skills.
Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of organization
Shell scripting skills desirable
Audit and regulatory knowledge desirable
Required Background
Five or more years of technical hands-on Information Security architecture, design and implementation
Auditing, Risk, and Compliance a plus |
